The sound level meter HD 8701 is a portable instrument, easy and quick to use,
suitable for measuring industrial and civil noise levels. The noise levels can be read easily in dB(A) on the large liquid crystal display which also shows all the information concerning the mode of operation of the instrument. One second after switching on and with a resolution of 0.1 dB, the digital reading gives the continuously updated value of the RMS sound pressure level, with a type A frequency weighting. The single range from 30 to 130 dB further simplifies the use of the instrument, as the user does not have to change scale.

The instrument is designed to deliver maximum performance in the analysis of acoustic phenomena with particular attention to regulations on environmental noise and building acoustics. Attention has been paid to the possibility to adapt the instrument’s functions to the legislation and to meet the needs of its users. It’s possible to integrate the sound level meter at any time with options to extend the applications; the firmware can be updated directly by the user using the supplied NoiseStudio software. HD2110L meets type 1 specifications according to IEC 61672-1 2002 and IEC 60651, IEC 60804 standards. Compliance with IEC 61672-1 has been verified by INRIM primary metrological Institute (ref. certificate no.37035-01C).

HD 2010 is an integrating portable sound level meter performing either spectral
or statistical analysis. The 80 dB wide dynamic range, optionally upgradable to
110 dB, and the simultaneous measurement with different time and frequency
weightings, allow speeding up and symplifying surveys. Using an HD2010 you can analyse a sound sample programming 3 measuring parameters with the most complete freedom of choice of temporal or frequency weightings. If an undesired sound event produces an over-load indication, or simply alter the result of an integration, its contribution can be excluded using the Back-Erase function.

The HD2010UC is an integrating portable sound level meter performing statistical analyses. The instrument has been designed combining price competitiveness and simplicity of use. Attention has been paid to the possibility of updating the instrument, and the HD2010UC can be integrated, at any time, with other options like “A dvanced Data Logger” to extend its application scope. The firmware can be upgraded directly by the user using the Noise Studio program supplied with the instrument.The HD2010UC conforms to IEC 61672-1 of 2002, IE C 60651 and IEC 60804 specifications with class 2 or class 1 tolerances. source, suitable for calibrating sound level meters (portable and laboratory
models) and acoustic measuring stations. It’s possible to calibrate directly 1” microphones and, by means of a proper adapter (model 9101040), also 1/2” microphones; the mechanical dimensions are in accordance with standards
IEC 61094-4 (“Measurement Microphones, Part 1: Specifi cations for Laboratory
